After committing any crime, Macavity would vanish from the site of the crime done. Although he had committed a lot of crimes, he was never able to get found in any of the crime sites. He was very clever and he cleverly disappeared from the place. It was because of the absence of the evidence that it was impossible to catch him and convict him of any of the crime.
