Nelson Mandela talks about his boyhood days and how his freedom wasn't restricted as compared to his constrained freedom in his adult life. He was free to run in the fields near his mother's hut, free to swim in the clear stream that ran through his village, free to roast mealies under the stars and ride the broad backs of slow-moving bulls. His freedom wasn't restricted by any means. As long as he obeyed his father and abided by the customs of the tribe, he wasn't troubled by the laws of man or God. Later on, as an adult, Mandela realized his boyhood freedom that he enjoyed was just an illusion.
