What does Mr Lamb say about the bees?
Answers
Answer:
The question is asked from the short story On The Face Of It which is written by the story writer Susan Hill.
Mr. Lamb have hive of bees behind the tree. He says when you listen to them they buzz. But when you listen to them for a long time, they do "hmmm" which sounds like they are singing. He thrills on the thought that his bees are singing for him.
Mr Lamb told Derry that other people may consider the sound of bees as buzzing but he consider that sound as 'hmm'. It felt like bees were singing for him. He tried to say that people have different ideas over things. Things that are disturbing to some people, it's possible that others may find them peaceful and meaningful. He encourages Derry to find happiness in everything and drop the negative thoughts he had in his mind.
