Mrs. Pearson demanded for a two days off from her house hold chores as by then she already had a transformed personality. She was now a woman with strong will and a lot of boldness in her nature, unlike the earlier person that she was. She refused to work for her home and her family, and perform tasks like washing clothes, ironing them, cooking meals etc. until she was given enough acknowledgment and respect for the same.

All this while she had been working with a selfless attitude expecting nothing in return but as soon as she realised the importance of her own self respect, she was confident and stern in her statements and decisions.
