EXOTHERMIC REACTION-  the reaction in which heat is evolved is known as exothermic reaction. all the combustion reactions are exothermic.

ENDOTHERMIC REACTION-  the reaction in which heat is absorbed is known as endothermic reaction.all the decomposition reactions are endothermic.
