What does one mean by exothermic and endothermic reactions? give example.

1) the exothermic reactions are those which emits heat....
e.g. when we pour water into acid...it blasts

2) the endothermic reactions are those which absorbs heat.....
e.g.the cooling agents....absorbs heat and make substance cool

exothermic and endothermic reactions are two kinds of reaction which invole the basic factor that is heat

exothermic reactions are those reactions where there is heat evolved

endothermic reactions are the reactions where heat is taken to perform such reactions hest is given

exothermic reaction
H2O + Na gives. NaOH

endothermic reaction
2H2O gives when heat is given 2H2 + O2
