Answer:
PAP stands for People's Alliance Party.
Explanation:
It is a political party of Solomon islands. It was founded in 1979. It was formed by merging two parties namely, Rural Alliance Party and People's Progressive Party. It was led by Salomon Mamaloni. In 1980 general elections it won 10 seats out of 38 seats. The PAP's organizational structure has Leninist roots, and a group of elite PAP members known as Cadre selects 18 CEC members from the list of candidates. When this structure was first organized in 1957, the Retirement Commission recommended the next list of CEC candidates, but recently the CEC nominated eight members and the party left the remaining ten.
