What does poet campare snakes drinking water?

Poet compares snake drinking water with that of cattle's drinking water.

The snake does not drink the whole water in one sip. It drinks a little, then moves his head here and there. Looks to the sky. Bends down and drinks again.

Poet has that snake's this behaviour is similar to that of cattle..
