Zn+2NaOH---->Na2Zn02 + H2..
no. NaOH is only a reagent which is used to check the solubility of various metals.....

When Zinc reacts with sodium hydroxide Sodium zincate and hydrogen gas is produced.
Zn + 2NaOH -----> Na2ZnO2 + H2
No this reaction has nothing to do with reactivity of metals.
Here displacement reaction doesn't take place Zinc is an amphoteric metal.That is it acts as acid when it reacts with base and it acts as base when it reacts with acid.
Hope This Helps You!

FRIEND..if Zn acts as an acid then ....the product will be salt and water not..salt and hydrogen....here Zn is acting as a metal .....and Remember:METAL + BASE--->SALT + HYDROGEN....
