The number of hydrogen atoms attached to oxygen in an acid are the replaceable hydrogens. In Sulphuric acid there are two hydrogen atoms attached to two oxygen atoms, so it has two replaceable hydrogen atoms. In Nitric acid there is one hydrogen atom attached to one oxygen atom, so it has one replaceable hydrogen atom.
