The word SATYAGRAHA literally means TRUTH OBSTINACY OR SACH KA AGRAHA.
This movement was passed by Gandhi ji against the British in order ti oppose Rowlatt act which aimed to detain anybody without a trial by british officials. This movement was passed in year 1919.
