what does soil contain?

MDirfankhan: hii
parasramrai: A soil with a mixture of clay, silt, sand and humus is often referred to as a loam. It contains the nutrients necessary for plants, holds sufficient water to make them available to the plant roots, with air pockets between the particles to allow good drainage, and it holds together well.

ANSWER :-

Soil contains inoraganic material, organic material & microorganisms . The inorganic materials r the rocks that have been broken down into smaller pieces. The size of pieces varies, so there r pebbles, gravel nd very tiny particles of sand nd clay in soil. The organic material is decaying living matter. This could be plants or animals that have died nd decayed until they became part of the soil.

Hope it help's uh...
