Composition of the population :

The population of a particular nation can be classified into three categories :-

☆ Children ( having age below than 15 years ) : They do not comes under employed population and hence considered as economically unproductive. They need basic facilities such as shelter , clothing , food , water , education , medical care , etc.

☆ Working age ( people having age between 15-59 years ) : They comes under employed population and are able to make money. They have the ability to biologically reproduce .

☆ Aged ( people having population above 59 years ) - They may have the capability to work but are not eligible for performing job.
