What does the ancient mariner, or sailor, rhyme “water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink,” mean to you and what do you think was the motivation for them to come up with this saying? Finally, how could this saying relate to our need to conserve and take care of our planet’s drinkable water?

Answer:
it means here around us there is so much of water like river or oceans but can't drink is the meaning and this also tells us about the future that if we don't conserve water there will be no water to drink one day
