Answer:

Happy man or Hotei…Laughing Buddha is a cultural symbol of few countries in the world..

He simply laughed..without expectations, without desires, with wisdom, without any fear…simply reflecting his nature of being happy!

Happiness is from the inside …and if something external makes you happy then it is highly fragile…Happy to share this little poem of mine here..

Laughing Buddha..

When you are in distress

He laughs out all stress

When you are delighted

He laughs elated

When you are angry

He laughs so sorry

When you are tired

He laughs so weird

When you are in search

He laughs at your research

When you are victorious

He laughs more boisterous

When you feel vibrant

He laughs nonchalant

When you envy

He laughs so uncanny

When you are greedy

He laughs for the needy

When you are sad

He laughs so mad

When you feel lost

He laughs at all cost

All of us buy him for money

He simply laughs in irony!

Just a metaphorical symbol I have mentioned about Laughing Buddha here…Happiness as I said is a core nature reflected from inside unmindful of external stimulants..external joy/sorrow/pain or pleasure…Such persons are truly happy!

To have a constant inner peace and being unmindful of external noise..gives a peep into a happy life!
