The author through this story is conveying a heart touching message...that just for our name and fame we can go to any extent which is totally wrong....here Mrs packletide killed two animals just for being famous and to outshine loona bimberton.
So the author conveys that to outshine others or to get some name and fame don’t be so hilarious and shameless, instead do something people get help of..and do something meaningful to get famous .
