Through the characters of post master and the other in post office in this story the author wants to reveal that nobody can feel others feelings and situations till when they never face that as postmaster was firstly very frustrated and irritated from Ali because of his regular and early visit in the post office but when the postmaster wents on the same situation that Ali was facing than he realized the value of patience and love then he felt sorry foe his deed with Ali
