The circulatory system is made up of blood vessels that carry blood away from and towards the heart. Arteries carry blood away from the heart and veins carry blood back to the heart. The circulatory system carries oxygen, nutrients, and hormones to cells, and removes waste products, like carbon dioxide.

Our body is made up of millions of tiny cells . Each of these cells require food and oxygen to live. The required nutrients and oxygen are supplied through the blood cicirculation. Blood supplies all the organs of the body with essential nutrients and oxygen, removes waste products and perform other vital functions . The circulatory system also collects the impure ( deoygenated) blood from whole body and distributes pure (oxygenated) blood to whole body. The circulatory system also performs a vital role in proper functioning of respiratory system
