risk is the possibility of something bad happening. Risk involves uncertainty about the effects/implications of an activity with respect to something that humans value (such as health, well-being, wealth, property or the environment), often focusing on negative, undesirable consequence

Answer:

"To laugh is to risk appearing a fool,

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

To reach out to another is to risk involvement,

To expose feelings is to risk exposing

    your true self.

To place your ideas and dreams

before a crowd is to risk their loss.

To love is to risk not being loved in return,

To hope is to risk despair,

To try is to risk to failure.

But risks must be taken because

the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The person who risks nothing, does nothing,

    has nothing is nothing.

He may avoid suffering and sorrow,

But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live.

Chained by his servitude he is a slave

    who has forfeited all freedom.

Only a person who risks is free."

- A poem by William Arthur Ward.

Now there can be two ways where we might conquer risks. In some cases, It makes us look intrepid, sometimes it's just an obstacle stopping us reaching towards our dreams. Whereas people might say it's a judgement on how people take risks to be. Some people have found that by taking risks it has left them with nothing, and others have found it has only brought them great things. According to me, It's a concept in mathematics which shares the same conceptual perspective : Uncertainty;  You really cannot be sure whether taking risks might affect you in a good or a bad way. It's completely up to your mental vantage point. In conclusion, It has my mixed emotions or feelings. It's a possibility.
