Solution:
The major affect of post Kalinga War at the time of Ashokan reign was the rock edict of Kalinga.
Vast devastation due to the war greatly affected king Ashoka.
He then decided to embrace the rules and follow the path of Buddhism.
In the entire rock edict constructed by Ashoka, it clearly specifies the Dharma or the central law of Buddha.
The rock pillar or edict constructed by him described the Dhamma law.

Following his victory on Kalinga Ashoka the Mauryan ruler, became shattered by the bloodshed and thus gave up the policy of violence. After this battle, he turned to be a Buddhist. In the Kalinga edict, Ashoka Maurya described the horrific bloodshed of the Kalinga War and he pledged not to involve in any such war in future.
