what does the Indian constitution consist of ?

at present there are,448 articles in 25 parts, 12 schedules, 5 appendices and 98amendments in the Indian Constitution. As compared to when it was written it had, 395 articles in 22 parts and 8 schedules at the time of commencement.

The basic structure doctrine is an Indian judicial principle that the Constitution of India has certain basic features that cannot be altered or destroyed through amendments by the parliament. Key among these "basicfeatures", are the fundamental rights granted to individuals by the constitution.
