It describes about a farmer named Lencho who is very hard working and he hope for rain for his corn crops but unfortunately it was destroyed by the hailstorm then he prays to god and writes a letter to him for 100 pesos. After the post master sees his unshakable faith for god he tries to help him and collects money for him but only able only to collect 70 pesos. Next day when Lencho came and found the letter and the money he got angry for not getting whole amount of money and writes another letter to god for sending him the remaining amount of money but not by the Post office workers.
It signifies that Lencho was an ungrateful man
