The field lines inside the soleniod are in the form of parallel straight lines. This indicates that the magnetic field inside soleniod is same at all points i.e. uniform inside the soleniod.
A current carring soleniod coil is used to magnetise steel rod inside it known as electromagnet.
we can increase the strenght of electromagnet by:-
i. increasing the number of turns
ii. increasing the flow of current inside it.
