“Modern men” as a collective repository of both conscious and unconscious knowledge and/or individual man’s memory of past events, people, acts, spectacles, etc?

-

In my opinion, most individual’s have a very narrow perception, unless they choose to grasp a broader comprehension of what has happened, when, where, how, and who.

-

Is that important? I believe so. But right here in the United States, history is often times revised, even deleted. Many are shielded from knowing about the past.

-

For example, the ideological hero worship of being a “patriot.” The “new Americanized version” is that it is all about “liberty.” It would stand to reason, from that perspective to forget that the original “PATRIOTS” invaded the sanctuary City of St. Augustine, the first European settlement in America.

-

The Patriots rode in like heroes, upholding the law, which of course was “human trafficking,” and slaughtered, eradicated and those that were not left and maimed, even if they were not previously slaves, were returned to masters.

-

I don’t think “modern man” wants to remember that they are inheriting by winning ugly. It is as if the unarmed are sanctimonious jelly fish that deserve not to have freedom. Like little Nazi’s, or the Hungarian Jobbiks, otherwise good people get taken in and start chanting stuff like “Liberals are the Enemies of the People.” “Socialists are the enemies of the People,” “That religion is the enemy of the People,” “Communism is the enemy of the people,” and so on.

-

Yet ‘modern man’ is divided. Those that forget the past, or revise it to suit their interest end up ruining the world. They are the negatives.

-

How collective is this spirit that lurks in the darkest sides of mankind? There have been over 2000 wars, with 100+ having over 100,00’s to few millions gone, eradicated, just like that.

-

“Military Intelligence” and “think tanks” may be a way for “conflict resolution,” but invariably it means gaining from the wisdom of the past, even if it is outside our memory. Theologians and international figures working together are ingredients, in my opinion for a positive result, saving us in spite of ourselves, when it comes to a civilized planet.
