the mughal period marks the begining of medieval period in india.The first mughal emperor barbur founded the mughal empire in 1526 and ruled until 1530.He was followed by humayun who ruled from 1530 to 1540.Then he was descended by his son akbar who ruled from 1556 to 1605. Akbar's son jahagir ruled from 1605 to 1627 and then he was followed by his son shah jahan who ruled from 1627 to 1658. mughal emperor aurangzeb and several other minor emperors ruled until bahadur shah zafar, the last mughal emperor.After the death of aurangzeb the mughal empire became weak and countinued until 1857 to 1858.The disintegration of the mughal empire led to the end of medieval period and starting of modetn period of history where britishers ruled india.
