How could a busy person get the better of one who had nothing to do means-  

           A busy person has work to do. He is engaged in activities and is productive.  

           While on the other hand, the person who has nothing to do remain unproductive. Many unnecessary thoughts come in the mind and he generally falls prey to over thinking. This leads to creating difficulties in his life.

           While a busy person has no such time to over think about his problems and he just keeps going on to work hard.
