Answer:

In 1848, Frederic Sorrieu,  prepared a series of four prints visualizing his dream of a world made up of ' democratic and social Republics'. The print depicted the formation of nation-states and the destruction of the monarchical system or the absolutist institutions. The print depicted people from different countries such as Germany, France, USA, passing as line, offering homage to the statue of Liberty, holding the torch of Enlightenment in one hand and the Charter of the Rights of Man in the other. It also depicts in the foreground of the image, the shattered remains of absolutist institutions. Above the sky, from the heavens, Christ, saints and angels gaze upon the scene. They have been used by the artist to show symbolize fraternity among the nations of the world.
