When Riding Bike/Scooter by a person with pillion sitting at back. When suddenly brakes are applied, the pillion fall forward. Well, it is so because when the rider is driving the vehicle, along with the vehicle the rider and pillion both are in state of motion. When, brakes are suddenly applied, due to the state of inertia that tend to be in same state, both of them spontaneously experiences the external force(Brakes applied) that tend to stop their forward motion, but since they were in state of motion earlier, the pillion fall apart forward.
