Answer:This poem takes a form of an Italian sonnet which has fourteen lines, divided into two parts. The first eight lines are known as the octave and the final six lines are known as the sestet. The speaker did not follow the rhyme scheme of an Italian sonnet as an Italian sonnet follows the rhyme scheme of ABBAABBA in the octave and CDECDE in the sestet although the rhyme scheme of the sestet of an Italian sonnet can be different, depending on the amount of rhyming sounds. The speaker chose to differ in regards of the Italian sonnet’s rhyme scheme. He was probably just writing as everything happened at that overwhelming moment. The octave’s rhyme scheme in this particular poem is ABBAACCA, followed by the sestet with the rhyme scheme DEFDFE.
