The poet means that he was very poor and was unable to buy food when food's price was increasing while at the same time , food rot in the godowns. He was hungry at that time therefore he say it.

• Often, songs, stories, and poems, inspire others and make them believe strongly in a concern and impact their efforts to remedy the situation. One way of fighting for equality was by Vinay Mahajan, a famous poet and social activist, who had composed a poem Right to Information wherein he had said that his hunger had every right to know why is that when grains could rot in go-down, he is unable to get e a fistful of rice.
