In the poem 'Keeping Quiet', the poet Pablo Neruda suggests people to keep quiet by observing silence; he further explains how it can be done. In order to keep quiet people should stop talking and moving their arms and legs. He wants all the people in the world should stop talking and moving at the same time. This will cause unprecedented silence. In this silence people will introspect and in the introspection will find solutions to the problems that have been ailing the mankind. Problems such as wars, killing flora and fauna, and endangering the mankind, etc.
