Well in this poem the poet try to convey the simple truth about the life cycle of human being i.e birth , marriage and death. Through the use of metaphor such as break of day meaning start of new day or start of new life, marriage veils of a queen i.e second stage of human life(adulthood), and moonlight chill i.e night cold similar to dead.
