It depends on what you’re looking for out of your poetry blog.
For visibility: If your goal is to get a lot of readers, I’d recommend using a blog that has built in ways to get followers and readers. I’ve used Commaful and to post in the past (personally got the most readers out of Commaful and Tumblr for poetry). Make sure you tag the rights tags for poetry for each platform.
For Linking: If you want to have a personal website you can link as a portfolio or to share with your friends, I’d recommend . Wordpress can take a little bit to learn, but very much worth it once you get the hang of it. You have a lot of customizability and can show off your poetry in very unique ways. Lots of pre-built themes that you can use to make your work look amazing.
In both cases, these are VERY easy to set up and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes for the visibility focused sites and definitely not more than a few hours for the linking focused sites.
