Pons varolli is like corpus Callum for cerebellum. It transfers the impulses from one part of the cerebellum to another and also coordinates muscular activity. It is located in the midbrain.

pons connect two halfs of the cerebellum and also joins the medulla with hind brain. It is the relay center for information within the cerebellum and coordinate muscular movements on both sides of the body.
