what does the skeleton do for the human body?

The skull protects the brain; the thorax (sternum, ribs and spine) protects the heart, lungs and other viscera (organs within the thorax).
Movement: It provides a framework for muscles to attach. Then when the muscles contract they pull on the bones of the skeleton, which act like levers to create movement.

it protects us from our body and it has so many bones like 206 bones in the skull we have two type cranial and facial bones & we have a vertebral column that helps us to sit or stand in this we have cervical contains 1st 7 bones and thorax contain 12 bones and lumbar contains 5 bones and coccigeaul contains fused and I will send u the diagram this is about human skull
