The slope basically means tantheta and acording to trignometry Tantheta= Perpendicular/base as distance on y axis and Time on X axis So perpendicular is Distance which is divided by base i.e time which results into Speed Because Distance is mentioned there not displacement if it is of displacement time graph then velocity is correct but due to distance Speed is correct answer
