migration is the movement from place to place. Sometimes that movement isseasonal, as when birds migrate north in summer and south in winter. But sometimes a person or group will migrate from one place to another with the intention of settling there.

Migration refers to two meanings. One in science and one in geography.

Migration (geography) : moving of one place to another for business or any other purpose.

Eg: birds migrated from Africa to Asia.
