Answer:

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants and other things make food. It is an endothermic (takes in heat) chemical process that uses sunlight to turn carbon dioxide into sugars that the cell can use as energy. As well as plants, many kinds of algae, protists and bacteria use it to get food.

Photosynthesis is the process by which green parts of plants make food from carbon dioxide and water with the help of chlorophyll ( green pigment) and energy from sunlight.

  • During photosynthesis , glucose is synthesized and oxygen is released.

carbon \: dioxide + water \frac{sunlight}{chlorophyll} glucose + oxygen

  • During photosynthesis, solar energy is trapped by chlorophyll and changed into chemical energy ( in the form of glucose). The glucose thus prepared, is distributed to different parts of plants.

Hope it helps.
