Explanation:

Alright, since you say that.

Polymerization is a type of chemical reaction. And this reaction is used in factories to make plastics. The reactants are small molecules found in crude oil. Heat, pressure and, sometimes, catalysts make these molecules react to form really long chains called polymers. Chemists call this polymerization reaction.

And as the definition of monomers states:

A monomer (/ˈmɒnəmər/ MON-ə-mər; mono-, "one" + -mer, "part") is a molecule that "can undergo polymerization thereby contributing constitutional units to the essential structure of a macromolecule".

And that, would simply mean that monomers are small building units of a polymers and all monomers together contribute to form a polymer.

*Note: Mono - one

Poly - many

Can you relate both the facts now?

Hope it makes you understand better now?

Mark it brainliest if you don't mind.

Have a great day ahead! :)
