Brutus stabbed Caesar and as he withdrew the knife (cursed steel) from the body of Caesar, blood oozed out of his body.He describes the blood that oozed out from the body of Caesar when Brutus withdrew the knife. The blood gushed out and seemed as if it was rushing out through an open door, in order to find a comfort. When Caesar saw that it was Brutus who stabbed him, it made him realise the ingratitude of Brutus. The ingratitude was a powerful weapon that was stronger than the hands of the traitors. As a result of this, Caesar seemed to cover his face with his cloak, not being able to look at Brutus.
