This chapter is from social studies as it is the war going on between the 2 countries they are :

- France
- Vietnamese

— Here , In this para they are talking about educational system.

$ Teachers & students didn't blindly follow the rules which are given by french people. Sometimes they were opposing the rules given by french people. As , the Vietnamese teachers increased in lower classes it became very difficult to teach the students.

$ French people thought if they could give a chance they might teach the french language but in future days it becomes a problem they may oppose & be opposite to us....So that the french people doesn't agree with this french government.

$ The last line is about ,
The teachers will teach the modified & criticized what was stated : the text means which is not the part of a subject. They are telling more about france people. How they occupied our country etc.....
