(^)this is used for writing up side like for square we will wrte then we will use this like if 2^2 we write its mean 2*2 =4 or 5^2=25

It means 'raise to the power of'

For eg,

for 10^2 means 10 raise to the power of 2.

That is 10 is multiplied by itself Two times.

ie 10×10=100

So , 10^2=10×10=100

10^4=10×10×10×10=10000

2^3=2×2×2=8
