Vermicomposting is the method of using earthworms for making useful compost out of kitchen wastes like vegetable and fruit peels or any leftover food. The earthworms eat up these organic matters and release nitrates in their excreta which is very useful and essential for plant growth .Remember that meat, salty food items can't be used for vermicomposting.
