Hi friend,

White Collor refers to employees whose job entails, largely or entirely, mental or clerical work, such as in an office.

In the past clerical jobs were one of the most common white collar jobs and were considered as an ideal of such jobs. A white collared job holder may be a person who works on an hourly basis, just like a blue collared jobs, or may be salaried, but the basic difference is in the responsibilities of the job. As such the number of hours worked by a blue collared worker is significantly lower as compared to a white collared worker. And as far as the amount of money earned, the white collared workers earns more compared to blue collared workers. You may want to know the kind of career opportunities, available so that you get a clear idea of the opportunities available.
