Solution:

Given simple equation:

150 - x = 87

subtract 150 ,both sides of the equation, we get

=> 150 - x - 150 = 87 - 150

=> -x = -63

multiply both sides of the equation by (-1) , we get

=> (-1)(-x) = (-1)(-63)

=> x = 63

Therefore ,

x = 63
