English is an almost universal language. It is spoken everywhere except remote places, largely those under tribal chieftains resisting civilization. It has acquired many dialects or forms. American and British would be a case in point. Indian English can be found across the eponymous subcontinent and generally is more corrupted than the other forms by other languages. Indian English uses terms like re, array, etc. which are actually supposed to be from Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and the like. Americans and Brits use purer English than Indians.
