The Carolina Land Grant of 1777, took away the habitat of Native Americans of South East America. Most of them lost the land on which they cultivated crops and grazed farm animals. They could not hunt because of the influx of new settlers. The Native Americans had to move on or find menial jobs with the settlers.
It was a legislature passed by the new state of Carolina in 1777, which allowed the State to take control of all ‘vacant land’ within the new state.
