The French and Indian war also known as the seven years war had a great effect on the natives of North America. As soon as the war ended the American frontiers opened up for the better flow of the British and later American settlers. French also did not support them to reduce the number of English settlers. As a result more and more people shifted towards the western part from the Appalachians. Morover they also faced a massive pressure from the eastern part too. This ultimately resulted to a inter - tribal war in the Ohio river region soon spreading to the Mississippi region.
