The more the concentration of H+ ions, the lower is the pH value of the solution.

Therefore, the more the H+ ions, the more acidic the solution is.

When the concentration of hydrogen ions increase the solution become more acidic while when the hydrogen ion decreases cause an increase in the bases in the solution.
