The concentration of H+ (aq) ions determines the acidicnature of solution. Hence, acidity of a solution increases with increases inconcentration of H+ (aq) ions and vice versa.

When the concentration of hydrogen ions increase the solution become more acidic while when the hydrogen ion decreases cause an increase in the bases in the solution.
